Master Scuba Diver Trainer Instructor

Szablis is a real-life mermaid. She grew up in California and Hawaii - always in the water any chance she got.

Scuba certified in 2019, she fell hopelessly in love with Scuba Diving and decided no one should be without the opportunity to experience the freedom, wonder, and escape Scuba provides.

Less than two years later, Szablis hired Steve Varney as the Director of Operations to open Southeast Scuba Escape, completed her PADI Divemaster and subsequently her Master Scuba Diver Trainer Instructor credentials from PADI.

Szablis' personal attention and caring approach shines when she personally hosts multiple trips all over the world with SSE regulars, and new regulars. Szablis loves talking about, living, and sharing the scuba lifestyle with everyone.

A full-time Financial Planner and owner of a large financial planning firm, Szablis enjoys in both arenas, teaching and sharing a feeling of empowerment for those she works with.

Most days you can find her bouncing between the door that separates Southeast Scuba Escape and her financial practice in Rochester Minnesota.
