Discover Snorkeling
This course is perfect for everyone not able to scuba dive or if scuba diving just isn’t your thing. The Discover Snorkeling experience course teaches you how to enjoy watching life below the surface and comfortably venture underwater for short visits.
What will you learn?

How to choose, adjust and use skin diving (snorkeling) equipment.

Basic safety guidelines for being in and around the water
-
Snorkeling and skin diving techniques including surface swimming, clearing water from your snorkel and performing effortless surface dives.

Minimum age is 8 years old. Fins, mask, and snorkel may be rented for $35. If you prefer to purchase your own, you receive a 10% discount if registered in the class.
​
Class time is about 1-1.5 hours and is offered anytime we offer class at the REC Center.​​​
​
Note that a minimum of 4 students is required for class to proceed. A private lesson can be arranged for an additional $25 per person for 3 or less people.

PRIVATE
OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION
Your own private session or your small group up to three individuals with an instructor. Provides more individualized attention and allows for custom date selection. Beginner Level Certification to Scuba Dive Anywhere in the World down to 60 feet
Includes e-learning, in-water instruction, and open water sessions and scuba diving kit use (BCD, Regulator, Weights, Tank, and Wetsuit).
Personal equipment includes mask, fins, and snorkel and may be purchased at the shop at a 10% discount for all enrolled students. For proper fit, and comfort, you will want to try these items on so it is NOT recommended to buy those items online.

ENRICHED AIR
NITROX
Enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals.
Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals. No wonder Enriched Air Diver is the most popular PADI® specialty.

Dive Master
Training & Certification
Be a leader who mentors and motivates others. Gain dive knowledge, supervision abilities, and become a role model to divers around the world.

Discover Scuba
This course is perfect for someone who is considering whether or not they want to get certified, or who just wants to try out scuba diving.
It is a great first experience to get an idea what it is like to breathe underwater and be weightless.
This experience is conducted in the pool at the REC Center and will give you about 45 minutes of scuba experience with a PADI professional.
​
It includes all equipment required including mask, fin, snorkel, BCD, regulator, tank and weights.
​
After you try it and fall in love with it, if you continue to get certified we credit $100 toward your certification cost.

Certification Refresher
Already certified, but it's been a while? Come to the pool to refresh yourself on the basics, and brush up your skills in the pool with a professional.
Your PADI professional from Southeast Scuba Escape will review the basics with you and get you back up to speed, reviewing equipment set-up, hand signals, and all the dive safety and skills you'll need to be confident on your next dive. Spend some time practicing your refreshed skills in the deep end as well.
This class counts as your "last dive" if you are traveling soon and plan to dive.

ADVANCED
OPEN WATER
Expanded Skills and Experiences. Your dive pro will guide you through 5 adventure dives to introduce you to a variety of advanced specialties and teach you to be safe diving up to 100 feet.
Includes e-learning, and in-water instruction on five adventure dives including Deep, Navigation, Peak-Performance Buoyancy, and two other adventure dives of your choice.
Options Include: Enriched Air Nitrox, Fish Identification, Night, Digital Underwater Imaging, Search & Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, Dive Against Debris, Dry Suit, and Wreck Diver.

Equipment is not included in this certification. Rental gear is available at the shop. Be sure to arrange rental gear prior to your class date.

Required Equipment:
BCD, Regulator, Exposure protection appropriate to the dive environment (if drysuit is needed, a drysuit orientation session in-pool is required), fins, mask, snorkel, and dive computer.
