Join us for a two-island Escape through Kona and Kauai, where daily boat diving is joined by two unforgettable after-dark experiences. Encounter Kona’s graceful mantas during a Night Manta Feeding Dive, then venture into the open Pacific for a Pelagic Magic Evening Dive and an entirely different view of Hawaii beneath the surface.
With accommodations, meals, airport transfers, and transportation between the islands included, you can focus on diving, exploring, and enjoying the journey. Your SSE hosts will be with you throughout the Escape to help coordinate the details, support your diving, and introduce you to memorable Kauai experiences informed by Szablis’s firsthand familiarity with the island.

Two Unforgettable Sides of Hawaii After Dark
Your package includes two boat dives per day, but some of the trip’s most memorable moments begin after the sun goes down.
Experience one of Kona’s signature underwater encounters during a Night Manta Feeding Dive, watching as these graceful animals move through the illuminated water.
Then head offshore for a Pelagic Magic Evening Dive and discover the mysterious marine life that rises from the depths after dark.
Nitrox is available at an additional per-tank cost. Divers can also use the trip as an opportunity to continue their training and receive $50 off Advanced Open Water or any PADI Specialty certification completed with Szablis during the Escape.

Traditional Luau
Enjoy a traditional luau featuring a shell lei, cocktail, sodas, traditional luau menu, Hawaiian blessing, and hula, fire-knife, and islander performances.
The experience lasts approximately two to three hours, and transportation is included when this add-on experience was elected.
Whale Watching
The final three days are kept open so you can safely off-gas and enjoy parts of the islands that sit at altitude.
Why not spend one of those days watching for whales gathering in Hawaiian waters during this time of year? Ask your SSE hosts about available whale-watching options.
Planning Your Flights
Fly into Kona. Fly home from Kauai.
Plan to arrive at Kona Airport on the Island of Hawaii and depart from Lihue Airport on Kauai.
Airfare to Hawaii and home from Kauai is not included. Your transportation between the islands is included as part of the Escape.
Travel Days are NOT included in the dates for this trip.
